Important update: Library events and opening hours

At this challenging time, we are doing everything we can to help protect the health and safety of our staff and Library community.

In light of the current COVID-19 situation the Library has made the difficult decision to cancel all onsite Library public talks, tours and  learning programs planned in January and February 2022.  All EventBrite tickets will be refunded over the next seven days.  We appreciate your patience while we work through this.

All online events will go ahead as scheduled.

As we grapple with staff shortages, the Library has returned to reduced operating hours: 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, 10 am to 5 pm on weekends.

When visiting the Library, please show your vaccination record on entry, check in with the Service NSW app and wear a mask at all times (except when eating and drinking).

If you’re not able to visit us onsite, we encourage you to continue to visit our website where you will be able to access electronic resources from home, including ebooks, newspapers and study guides, watch previous online events, explore the collections, view online exhibitions, and listen to podcasts and oral histories.

We are grateful for the support of our community and we wish everyone well.
