State Library of NSW — reopening FAQs

The State Library, including its two main reading rooms, galleries and Map Rooms, is open every day.

The Library's temporary opening hours are:

  • Monday to Thursday, 9 am to 6 pm
  • Friday to Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm

The Library Cafe is open every day until 3 pm.

The Library Shop is open from 9 am to 5 pm fromMonday to Thursday and 10 am to 5 pm Friday to Sunday.
