In the days before self-serve checkouts, petrol stations and on-demand phone apps, families across the country relied on corner stores for their daily top ups.

They were the one-stop shop for bread and milk, lollies and bickies, tea and pastries, the daily newspaper and so much more.

We’re looking for some of the oldest, most unusual and most cherished corner stores still open across NSW.

Email and tell us about your favourite corner store

Your nomination might make it into our next issue of Openbook magazine.
