How to approach drug issues with your family

Alcohol and drugs are a community issue. Talking openly and honestly about them with your family, particularly your children, is one step you can take to prevent drug problems.

The more you know, the easier it is to talk with your children about alcohol and other drugs. It may also help you recognise and prevent illegal or problematic drug and alcohol use early on and to start finding solutions.
